Your future role

• This includes all aspects of software engineering: design, test, implementation, deployment, support
• Video-specific front-end and back-end development
• Problem solving for frontend and API development, data science and cloud
• Collaborate with product owners, AI specialists, designers, and others to develop best-in-class AI-powered solutions
• You will support, guide, and coach your colleagues on the team and across the organization
• Agile workflow
• Shared lifecycle processes with our global development organization

Desired qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience in software development across the lifecycle
• Familiarity/experience with video processing pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and serverless technologies
• Familiarity with Git and standard code repository processes
• Experience with any JavaScript framework
• Experience with any JavaScript testing framework and assertion library
• Experience working with team members remotely and across time zones
• Good English / German nice2have
• Technology Stack Must-Haves:
• JavaScript / HTML / CSS
• Node.js / Docker / AWS
• Nice2Haves:
• TypeScript, Selenium
• ffmpeg / fluent-ffmpeg
• Deeper understanding of MPEG-2-TS / HLS / fMP4
