Our goal is to address our audience in a consistent, brand adequate, and uniquely endemic tone of voice. Doing so, you’ll lead the social media strategy for all aspects of gaming at Red Bull from overarching strategy to project-specific briefings. This includes implementation of new social formats that significantly increase audience engagement across each gaming vertical, which aligns with the overall gaming strategy and delivers on business objectives. Furthermore, you’ll take care of the day-to-day management of external freelancers working directly with the gaming’s playground.


You’ll increase the internal understanding of new and distributed media, ensuring all content is suitable for the rapidly evolving distribution landscape and acts as a spearhead for gaming. In addition, you’ll ensure that channels have ample content to promote around key gaming projects, live and non-live and events outside of the office. On site, you’ll be responsible for all elements of creating, programming, and publishing of content in the relevant gaming channels.


Last but not least, you’ll manage our social media publishing tools, analytics tools and platform CMS to ensure consistent and relevant content. To do so, you’ll be entailed to take data-based decision and development of best practices to share internally with our markets.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • 3+ years of experience publishing content to big brand social media channels and social content optimisation
  • Strong ability to critically analyse social media, digital products, video consumption patterns, and social media platform algorithms
  • Video production/editing as well as design and photography experience
  • Detailed understanding and awareness of social platform trends, content formats and language with an investigative mind that continually evaluates the changing environment
  • Structured and well-organized individual with a passion for telling strong and authentic stories
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented thinker who can quickly pivot plans when circumstances dictate
  • Exceptional understanding, experience, and interest in gaming. The ideal candidate is not just passionate about gaming – they understand the disciplines we work with and they speak the language
  • Experience with a gaming publisher, network or gaming/esports organization highly desirable
  • University degree in marketing, communication or other relevant studies
  • Fluent in English

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,181 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
