(Senior) Legal Counsel Data Privacy Sports and Media
Fuschl, Austria
As Senior Legal Counsel Data Privacy, you will be the key contact at HQ for Legal colleagues in high level data privacy issues, regarding non-beverage business.
You will be providing legal advice to the Legal business partners of the numerous sports clubs and other projects on complex global data privacy initiatives, and assist them in ensuring the successful implementation of Red Bull’s global data privacy and compliance strategy.

LEGAL ADVICE
You will assist relevant business and legal stakeholders in negotiating data privacy contracts and provide hands-on legal support for complex international data privacy matters.
IMPROVEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF GLOBAL DATA PRIVACY COMPLIANCE FRAMEWORK
You will support the implementation of Red Bull’s global Data Privacy Compliance Framework (standards, guidelines, templates, processes, etc). Moreover, you will contribute towards improving and updating the Data Privacy Compliance Framework.
TRAININGS
You will conduct regular trainings and drive knowledge sharing within the organization.
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
- Minimum 8+ years of combined, experience in law firms and/or in-house legal departments.
- Knowledge of European data privacy law, e-commerce, marketing and consumer protection law and experience in providing pragmatic and actionable advice to various stakeholders on various legal risks and obligations under relevant privacy laws (including GDPR, e-privacy laws). Experience with international projects.
- Experience driving, prioritizing, and effectively managing cross-functional initiatives, and an ability to work both independently and with large multi-stakeholder teams.
- You have sharp analytical and communication skills, are diligent, proactive, collaborative, and have demonstrated excellent legal and business judgment and strategic thinking (including fluency translating legal advice into actionable guidance).
- Excellent organizational skills and process-oriented, with a well-structured working style.
- Law degree from a reputable university + post-graduate degree (LLM) is a plus / CIPP/E or similar data privacy qualification / technical know-how and experience with IT-projects is a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,602 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
