SAP FI/CO Intern Consultant
Fuschl, Austria
We are growing our Finance Data and Analytics department and looking for an ambitious Global SAP FI/CO Intern Consultant (Key User).
In this position, you’ll manage international SAP projects in the FI/CO area. Additionally, you’ll partner with our IT team to migrate our IT landscape to SAP S/4HANA. Our SAP Financials are fully integrated with the SAP SD, MM and CRM modules, SAP BW, and Oracle Hyperion solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely and coordinate with cross-functional business project teams, analyze business processes, translate and document business requirements into technical requirements, and drive business process development, improvement and automation.
We are looking for either a candidate with profound working experience in a similar role in an international environment or a SAP FI/CO consultant keen on moving closer to finance’s business/process side and manage projects within the area.

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT
Collect, analyze, and document requirements from different finance/controlling departments (in the area of P&L, COGS, Balance sheet, Cash flow, quantity of goods) and align requirements cross-functionally with other business teams. Act as a translator between business and IT and transform the requirements with focus on high quality into technically detailed, system-based concepts, which can be used as basis for the technical implementation. As a sparring partner, you’ll discuss and align business concepts and process improvements with all stakeholders on business and IT side.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project management of international SAP ERP projects in the area of FI/CO.
Define work packages and a project plan in close alignment with IT. Follow up on the achievement of milestones during the project phases, document them in our project management tools and make sure that deadlines are met. Set the right priorities, communicate proactively with all involved parties, identify bottlenecks, and find alternatives to remove roadblocks. Prepare in collaboration with the data quality team, business, and IT the cutover plan for Go-Live.
TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION
Ensure high-quality IT technical implementations by setting up efficient testing concepts and processes. Conduct the testing initiatives and quality assurance. Provide training, documentation, and final handover to the data quality team.
SUPPORT
Provide second level support for the newly developed solutions.
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the SAP FI or CO area project involvement, preferably gained as a Key User, IT Consultant or Business Consultant
- Experience working with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
- General and integrated understanding of finance processes, Accounting background is a plus
- Profound knowledge of system-based planning, reporting, actual closing solutions and processes
- Experience in project management in the area of implementation or development of business applications is a plus. Advanced level of Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Work Front
- Ability to understand complex processes, identify risks and find solutions
- Great attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Team player, self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced University degree from IT, Finance, quantitative, computer science, statistical or engineering field
- Fluent in English, German is a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.805 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
