Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Since our company continues to grow, we are now hiring for our team:

Your new challenges which will inspire you:

• Manage product development projects (pre- and post-marketing) for drugs and drug/device combination products in the business units Critical Care, Haematology and Immunotherapy
• Propose, initiate, plan, monitor, document and close complex projects; Apply XLPM project management standards
• Coordinate and lead several multi-disciplinary, cross-functional project teams across Octapharma sites and with academia partners and CMOs; Support each organization and department in reaching their goals
• Integrate drug development at all stages by closely interacting with all internal and external stakeholders including scientists, engineers, manufacturers, clin-ops, regulatory managers, and product managers
• Compile and communicate key information (timelines, minutes, risks, etc); Report status and escalate issues to the Steering Group and executive management as needed
• Support in best practice sharing between project management groups at different sites

Your profile that will convince us:

• University degree (MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in natural sciences in combination with min. 4 years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Proven track record in project management (PM certification/qualification is a plus)
• Interpersonal and leadership skills to build credibility and influence experts and functional lead-ers
• Communication skills to set objectives and promote a strong team culture with open discussion
• Organizational and multi-tasking capabilities to manage complexity, strong analytical and strategic thinking to solve problems
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent English (oral and written), additional strong German preferred skills, French is a plus

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 3.557,47. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay salaries higher than collectively agreed.
