You will play a key role in analysing our performance marketing activities and identifying opportunities to both improve existing marketing and begin new activities. You will become an expert in this area and will work closely with a Web Analytics Manager and the Performance Marketing team. You will be empowered to drive change, proactively looking for ways to optimise our performance marketing and helping to define strategy for the area.
Working alongside the wider Customer Insights team, including analysts embedded in later stages of the consumer lifecycle, you will share knowledge, contribute to larger analytical projects, and help further a data-driven culture in the business.
What would be your major responsibilities?
- Analyse the success of performance marketing and the quality of users we acquire
- Improve our customer acquisition through your data expertise and understanding of customers
- Empower the business to use data to make better & more informed decisions
- Proactively identify opportunities for new campaigns and optimizing existing campaigns
- Define the best way to measure the success of different campaigns from awareness, through consideration, to conversion
- Be an expert in this part of the user journey that partners closely with a Web Analytics Manager and the Performance Marketing Team
- Improve our attribution modelling across app and web and understand the nuances of different Ad Manager tools
- Build interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio to enable self-service access
- Collaborate with a Web Analytics Manager to ensure the necessary data collection is set up and bug-free
- Help build our strategy for Performance Marketing and the data strategy necessary to achieve it
- Work with the wider insight team to connect the dots between acquisition and long term value and behaviours as new sign-ups progress through the lifestages
- Support the web analytics manager in scoping out opportunities for re-targeting consumers through paid channels to drive retention, reactivation, and cross-selling
Is this you?
- Degree in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics or computer science
- 2+ years of relevant experience in analysing performance marketing
- Deep understanding of performance marketing data (e.g. attribution and data in Google Ad Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Adjust)
- Proactivity in identifying opportunities and partnering with business stakeholders to drive solutions
- Strong data analytical skillset to extract trustworthy insights and communicate these to business stakeholders
- Experience with tag management systems like Google Tag Manager (knowledge in JavaScript and HTML is a plus)
- Experience with Google & Meta APIs as well as tracking pixels is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL (Python is a plus)
- Knowledge of visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or similar) is a plus
- Previous experience working within payments or gambling/financial trading verticals is desirable but not a requirement
- Full working proficiency in English; German / Spanish is a plus
