Internship: Software Developer for Data Analytics in Program Management Office (part time) (m/f/d)

We are looking for a student, studying at a university in the greater area of Graz, to support our Program Management Office (PMO) part time, in parallel to their studies. As working student in our PMO you will play a key role in our Data Analytics initiative to standardize project dashboards and create new ways to visualize and track live project data (e.g. customer change requests, bug reports) from different project management tools deployed across the company.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate customer requirements into a new software design

• Develop new applications for the Data Analytics engine and modify existing applications

• Integrate data from various sources (e.g. Jira, CollabNet, Git)

• Visualize data with different levels of complexity via Microsoft Power BI, Excel, or other visualization tools

Your Profile:

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Software Development or similar

• Knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) is required

• Experience with SQL is required

• Experience with visualizing data with Microsoft Power BI graphs is a benefit

• Knowledge of creating Power Queries in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is a benefit

• Solid English skills (speaking and writing)

• Fast learner of new technologies

• Likes to work independently

• Availability around 16 hours/week

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 15- gross/hour.
