Director Global Sales Processes & Tools and Customer & Market Insights (m/f/d)

In this exciting position you are responsible for the development and management of Global Sales Operations and take overall responsibility for Global Sales Processes as Process Owner.


  • Evaluate trends in the field of sales processes and its tools and challenge existing processes
  • Responsible Process Owner for the prioritization of requirements, definition and continuous improvement of all sales processes across PALFINGER
  • Responsible for Global Sales Administration and execution of the monthly demand planning
  • Work closely together with sales experts around the globe and lead the know how transfer between regional sales departments regarding processes and tools and secure their global implementation (e.g. CRM system, product configurator)
  • As process owner you hold the guideline authority for sales processes (beyond formal hierarchies) including the hiring of key positions in the global process and data organization for the function sales
  • Take responsibility for the effectiveness and efficiency of all sales processes, execute performance evaluation and define target organization (together with the respective regional managers)
  • Responsible for the Project Management Office Sales and the further rollout of project management standards and tools in the Sales team
  • Build up COE Global Pricing
  • Take responsibility for the COE Customer & Market Insights, providing insights/intelligence as a basis for strategic and tactical decisions


  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in a senior management role in the field of Sales with more than 10 years hands on experience
  • You have strong process orientation and know how in lean management, preferably SAP experience
  • You have high conceptual skills with the capability to adapt and define business models and strategies
  • You have a persuasive power through competence paired with intercultural, communication and didactic skills
  • You have strong project management skills and proven track record to manage global programs / projects with challenging targets and timeline
  • You are business fluent in English

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 58.098,6 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
